Lights, Camera, Action!

By Lastest News & Events

Thank you to all pupils, parents and staff who have worked incredibly hard to show off our school as we hosted a videographer and photographer this week. We are very proud of how our pupils represented our school and shared about their time in hospital. We know that it can be very daunting to stand in-front of the camera – for staff and pupils! However, we think the resilience of our pupils, and their willingness to help tell other children in hospital about our school, deserves special recognition.

Thank you again to all our pupils, parents and staff, who helped to make the days a roaring success!

Down on the farm

By Lastest News & Events

Pupils from Busledon House, the hospital wards and our outreach provision all enjoyed a trip to Southampton City Farm this week. Situated a short journey from our school, the Southampton City Farm is home to a collection of indoor and outdoor animals. Favourites included the cheeky goats and noisy chickens. As well as learning about how the animals are cared for, pupils were also given the opportunity to handle many animals, from the soft and furry to the scaly and slithery!

It was a fantastic day out and pupils especially enjoyed that they could touch and play with the animals while learning about their natural habitats.

A big thank you to the staff at Southampton City Farm for hosting our trip, we look forward to visiting again in the near future.
