Pupil Premium

Southampton Hospital School does not receive Pupil Premium funding for dual-registered pupils; this still goes to the child’s usual school. Each child’s home school will decide how best to spend this funding and this may include supporting Southampton Hospital School to provide education for that child whilst they are unwell.

Southampton Hospital School may receive Pupil Premium funding for eligible single-registered pupils. Further details about the funding received and how the school uses those funds are available in our pupil premium strategy statement.

P.E. Funding

Southampton Hospital School does not receive P.E. top up funding for your child. However, we feel P.E. is a vital part of your child’s curriculum offer even during a stay in hospital. Therefore, we offer weekly P.E. sessions through Team Spirit.

Exam Results

Southampton Hospital School is not a registered exam centre and does not enter pupils for exams. However, the school can support pupils preparing for exams and facilitate appropriate arrangements for exams to be sat within the hospital.
