We are committed to supporting your child’s successful return to mainstream school. We are able to liaise with your child’s school prior to discharge to create and implement a reintegration plan and support package. Depending on the length of your child’s admission to hospital, this could include visits back to school, visits from your child’s class teacher, support in writing individual health care plans and attending multidisciplinary team meetings with your child’s usual school and health team. We also offer ELSA support for children who may be struggling emotionally with the prospect of returning to school following an illness or injury.

A written report will be sent to your child’s school providing they have attended at least 20 lessons at our school. A verbal report can be provided for all children on request.
